Are You Struggling with Loneliness, Emotional Pain, or Unresolved Childhood Trauma? You Are Not Alone, and You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone Anymore. If you're an adult living with the weight of childhood trauma, it can feel like the scars are still fresh. They may haunt you in ways that others can’t understand. Perhaps you often feel misunderstood, disconnected—not just from the world around you, but from yourself. You may even feel like the past is constantly influencing your present, making even the simplest of tasks or decisions feel overwhelming. Emotions that never seem to let up, you are not along. You are not broken!
Many of my clients have walked a path similar to yours—one where they’ve carried the heavy burden of past pain into their present lives. They feel trapped, not by the events of their past, but by the deep emotional wounds that refuse to heal on their own. These wounds shape how we view the world, how we relate to other, how we treat ourselves.
Healing is not about forgetting the past—it’s about reclaiming your life from it. It's about learning to trust yourself again, learning to set boundaries, and learning to nurture your emotional needs in healthy ways. You are not the sum of your past experiences. You are so much more. The road to healing starts with one simple, courageous step: reaching out.
How I can help.

C - PTSD
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) is a type of post-traumatic stress disorder that can happen after someone has experienced long-term, repeated trauma. Unlike regular PTSD, which often follows a single traumatic event, C-PTSD typically develops after ongoing abuse or exposure to situations where escape feels impossible—like childhood neglect, domestic violence, or living through war.
The trauma can be so overwhelming that it affects how a person sees themselves, others, and the world around them. It's not just about the memories of what happened; it's about how the trauma shapes your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors every day.
Common Signs of Complex PTSD:
-
Emotional numbness or feeling detached from the world
-
Intense feelings of shame, guilt, or worthlessness
-
Difficulty trusting others or forming healthy relationships
-
Flashbacks or intrusive memories of the trauma
-
Chronic anxiety, depression, or feelings of being on edge
-
Feeling trapped or stuck in the past, even though you know the trauma is over
Living with C-PTSD can feel isolating and exhausting, but healing is possible. Therapy can help you understand your trauma, rebuild your sense of safety, and begin to heal the emotional wounds that have shaped your life.
It's important to know that C-PTSD is not your fault—and with the right support, you can start to find your way back to peace, connection, and hope
"I found Rosa while searching for a therapist closer to my home. On paper she met all my criteria so I made an appointment and right away I felt like I had made the right choice. She is open and honest, non-judgmental and knows what I need when I need it. Sometimes it’s just some meditation to calm me and other times it’s intense work. Not easy but Rosa guides me and is always available if I need to speak at a time other than my appointment. I’d highly recommend her to everyone!"

"I have been working with Rosa since this past fall. I have gone through a lot of therapist before I found Rosa. She is completely accepting and nonjudgemental. She's my rock. She's always available to me. So glad I found her."
Erica
"As a non-binary individual, I have struggled with meeting a therapist that gets it, and treats me with genuine respect. Then I came across Rosa. When I met Rosa I was in a toxic relationship. Rosa has helped me gain the confidence to end the relationship and be ok being on my own. I highly recommend Rosa."
